I am honored to accept the nomination to serve as a Council member for the Kelly Lake Government. With over a decade of leadership experience in municipal governance, finance, and strategic development, I am eager to contribute my expertise to support the mandate of the Kelly Lake Government.

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with municipal councils, community organizations, and government agencies to develop policies, manage financial operations, and oversee critical community services. My experience as Deputy Chief Administrative Officer and Finance & Development Officer has provided me with a deep understanding of governance structures, fiscal responsibility, and long-term planning - all essential for fostering a thriving and self-sustaining community.

Kelly Lake has always held a special place in my heart. When I was younger, I cherished visiting the community, where there was an undeniable sense of family and belonging. I still remember the warmth and kindness that filled every home, especially during Christmas. Neighbors would open their doors to one another, sharing food, laughter, and stories, making everyone feel truly welcome. Those moments left a lasting impression on me, and I have longed to re-connect to our community once again. Unfortunately, I had to leave due to rental increases by CMHC, but I would like to return and once again be a part of the community I hold so dear. I want to help restore that same sense of unity and support, ensuring that future generations can experience the Kelly Lake I once knew and loved.

I am passionate about supporting sustainable development, strengthening local governance, and ensuring that decision-making processes are transparent and inclusive. My background in financial management, strategic planning, and policy development will allow me to contribute meaningfully to initiatives that promote economic stability, infrastructure development, and community well-being in Kelly Lake.

Serving as a council member of the Kelly Lake Government presents an opportunity to apply my skills in a meaningful way, ensuring that the interests of our community are well- represented and that we continue to build a strong foundation for future generations.

I look forward to collaborating with fellow council members and community stakeholders to advance the vision of the Kelly Lake Government.
